Burgundy to Off-White: Getting a Webster Groves Home Market-Ready

A full interior shift from burgundy and mauve to off-white gave this Webster Groves home a fresh, market-ready feel and a blank canvas buyers could picture themselves in.

Burgundy to Off-White: Getting a Webster Groves Home Market-Ready

This Webster Groves home was heading to market with a strong interior palette: burgundy walls, mauve accents, and dark wainscoting that made every room feel smaller than it was. The sellers wanted buyers to see the bones of the house, not the previous owner’s color choices.

What we did

The result

Light, neutral rooms that photograph well and let the hardwood floors and original trim do the talking. The listing went up shortly after we finished. If you are preparing a St. Louis area home for sale, this is the kind of reset that changes how buyers experience it in the first thirty seconds.
